FAQs

Q — Can I add more parking time?
Yes, a notification will be recieved 15 minutes prior to the expiration of a parking session.

Q — When do I need to pay?
NOW! The lot is enforced daily. Unpaid parking will result in additional fees and possible immobilization.

Q — How long can I park?
A parking session in the surface lot can be extended up to 5 days. If you plan on being away for multiple days, we recommend to park in the garage.

Q — Can I back into a parking space?
No, not having license plate visible from drive lane is prohibited.

VIP Park & Lock serves AMTRAK, NJ TRANSIT and SEPTA commuters. The parking rates available are the following:

6 a.m. — 11:59 p.m. (Monday thru Sunday)

12 a.m. — 5:59 a.m.

$10.00

Overnight parking up to 5 days maximum. Service fee of $0.75 is applied to all transactions.

All Unpaid Vehicles are Subject to Ticketing, Booting and/or towing at Owner's Expense.

Q: What is the garage clearance?
A: This is a surface lot, not a garage.

Q: Whom do I contact about a parking violation?
A: Follow instructions at the bottom of the violation. Appeals are not accepted for paying late or for paying for the wrong plate. Parking enforcement scans the license plate of each parker to confirm payment was received for the plate parked.

Q: What are your daily parking rates?
A: 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.: $16.00 (plus transaction fee)
12 a.m. to 5:59 a.m.: $10.00 (plus transaction fee)

Q: What are the monthly parking rates?
A: Monthly parking is not offered at VIP Park and Lock.

Q: I was charged twice for daily parking. What do I do?
A: Go to Customer Service and Support on the website and fill out the form so we can review the issue and get back to you.

Q: How long can I leave my vehicle parked?
A: The lot allows parking for up to five days, but you will save money by parking in Station Plaza Garage or Trenton Park and Ride Garage if parking overnight or for multiple days.

Q: Where can I find the train schedules?
A: You may find train schedules and station information for New Jersey Transit and Amtrak using the following information. For New Jersey Transit schedules and information, visit www.njtransit.com or call 1-973-275-5555. For Amtrack schedules and information, visit www.amtrak.com or by calling 1-800-872-7245.

Q: Are handicap-accessible spaces readily available at VIP Park and Lock?
A: They are on a first come, first served basis.

Q: Is handicap accessible parking free?
A: Handicap accessible parking spaces are not free and are charged at the normal posted rates.

Q: Are representatives available 24/7?
A: Yes, the location has 24-hour service representatives available and on-site CCTV.

VIP Park & Lock is directly across the street from the Trenton Transit Center, and adjacent to Station Plaza Parking Facility (overnight parking facility) serving parkers traveling via Amtrak, New Jersey Transit, and Septa.
